Not easy to dismiss the business founders who built a 300 million dollar ice cream empire on social responsibility and did not give up those rights when they sold out to corporate giant Unilever. When they speak out in favor of the values held dear by supporters of Occupy Wall Street, things like corporations are not people, get money out of politics, make the playing field level for all businesses. They are talking about doing what is right and what is good for business, seeing Occupy Wall Street as a huge opportunity for business. They see this respect for doing the right thing as a core competency of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream since its inception. Watch their argument to bring this home. Eat up it's delicious!
